No title appears on this map; the title applied here is based on content. Scale and legend are not given; orientation is marked along the borders on all four sides with north at the top. The map contains pictorial depictions of the Ningbo prefectural capital, Zhenhai County town, mountains, seawalls, rivers, islands, and military posts. Zhenhai County was originally called Dinghai County before the name change in 1688. Red circles and text markings indicate the boundary line. Zhenhai had gone through many administrative changes by that time. The map may have been drawn in the 21st year of Qing Daoguang’s reign, 1841.
