Title is revised from which written on a label in black ink and affixed to the map. Scale and legend are not given; orientation is written along the borders on all four sides with north at the bottom. The map offers pictorial depictions of towns, military posts, temples, mountains, lakes, and bridges. Place names and military staffing level are annotated on the map. Explanatory text is on the left which also explain the jurisdictional range of Ningbo, Cixi, Fenghua, Xinyi Xun, Hengxi Xun, Yuxi Xun. Military establishments reflect the information given in the Yin County Gazetteers prepared in the 27th year of Qing Qianlong’s reign, 1762, the map may have been drawn around that time period.
