Title is revised from which written on a label in black ink and affixed to the map. Scale and legend are not given; orientation is written along the borders on all four sides with north at the bottom. The map offers pictorial depictions of the Qiantang River, and military posts in the coastal area from Qiantang County to Hangzhou. Detailed descriptions of 10 town gates of Hangzhou (Fengshan Gate is blocked by a red label), and waterways connecting in and outside of the town are also depicted. Places and boundaries are annotated and additional seven red labels to identify military posts and staffing levels, sand reefs, and Luosibu thoroughfares. Haining Naval Brigade was established in the 23rd year of Qing Daoguang’s reign, 1843, the map may have been drawn before that.
