This set of maps consists of engineering drawings that depict the Yellow River from the east of Luomahu Lake to the sea. The set map consists of twenty sheets as follows: 1. Map of Yuwangtai; 2. Map of Yuwangtai; 3. Map of Shizi River and bamboo dam; 4. Map of Zhujiazha irrigation channel; 5. Map of Jiuligang fascine works; 6. Map of Liulaojian stone dam and map of Wangying dam condensation; 7. Map of Yan River; 8. Map of Yangzhuang port; 9. Map of Qingkou port; 10. Yuba wooden dam; 11. Map of Hongze Lake; 12. Map of downstream dam at Gao Lake and Bao Lake; 13. Map of Mangdao River's floodgates; 14. Map of Guazhoujiang engineering works; 15. Map of Jingkoujiang engineering works; 16. Map of rolling dam, natural dam, and Jiangjiazha floodgates; 17. Maochengpu dam condensation; 18. Wangjiashan natural dam; 19. Fengshan floodgates; 20. Map of Yellow River estuary. Orientation varies following the flow of the stream.        
The map set depicts the meeting points of the Yellow River and the Grand Canal in Jiangsu Province, including embankments, dams, sluice gates, fascine fortifications, mountains, rivers, and shrines of Guazhou (under Yangzhou Prefecture) and Jingkou (under Zhenjiang Prefecture). The Yellow River is shown in yellow while the other rivers and lakes are blue.        
Place names are scripted in black ink. Red notes are affixed all over the map sheets to describe the directives issued by Emperors Kangxi and Qianlong and projects carried out by local officials. The latest red annotation labels pasted on the map is dated 1749.
